Just out of curiosity does anyone know of any pagan/child friendly cafes in GTA ?If they would be willing to accommodate a group of 10-20 people on a monthly basis that would be ideal. Extra bonus if they were either central/downtown or close to the Subway line.

I know that the Jade Elephant in Etobicoke has the occasional mini psychic fair and drumming circles there, but that is quite out of the way to get to...

Thank you in advanced for your feedback.

The long-awaited first phase of construction on Roncesvalles Avenue will be starting the week of July 6, 2009. This first stage will involve replacing the sewer and water mains along Roncesvalles Avenue. This work is expected to last until January 2010.

The work will be taking place at two sites simultaneously: starting at Grafton and moving north to Fermanagh, and simultaneously starting at Fermanagh and moving north to Boustead.

In advance of this, the TTC will begin removing the overhead streetcar wires on Roncesvalles beginning June 21. This is to make the construction work easier. Buses will replace streetcars for the duration of the construction.

Now that spring weather has arrived, it's time to start thinking about getting some planting done. If you're in the City of Toronto, you can get a free tree from Urban Forestry Services. You'll need to print and fill out this form (PDF). According to the form, you can choose your free tree from a list of 36 trees (subject to availability and suitability of site). You can also call 416-338-TREE for more information.

Note: Crossposted all kinds of places!

I dropped my gloves on the westbound 501 this morning. We were at Roncesvalles around 7:30am. I realized too late to be able to get back on the car & get them, but soon enough that I managed to take down the number of the car: 4216. Who knows if it'll help though. :-/

I'm going to call the TTC's Lost Articles department tomorrow afternoon, but I figured it couldn't hurt to post about it here...

I was sitting in the second to last double bench before the back exit & the gloves are a pair of teal coloured suede Coach gloves, with a cashmere lining. They were gifted to me by a dear friend & are my favouritest gloves ever.

They look like this (but teal, of course & with black details, instead of pink):

If you, or anyone you know found these gloves, there is definitely a reward for getting them back to me!

Note: Crossposted all over.

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good physiotherapy clinic in Toronto (West end or downtown is preferable)that will accept WSIB claims? I was injured on the job and have finally gotten WSIB to agree to pay for it for 3 months.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.
